ORDER
WHEREAS, under the provisions of subrule (5) of rule 182 of the Kerala
Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, in respect of societies and posts not
covered by section 80(3A) and section 80B of the Kerala Cooperative Societies
Act, 1969 (Act 21 of 1969), the appointments shall be made by the committee
after conducting the written examination and interview as per the guidelines

AND WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Vayathur Vanitha Co
operative Society Limited No. C.1363 in Kannur District has resolved to
request the Government of Kerala through the Registrar of Cooperative
Societies, to exempt the said society from the provisions of subrule (5) of
section 182 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969 for the purpose
of regularizing the appointment of Smt. Usha M. K. in the post of Secretary of
the said society;
AND WHEREAS, the Registrar of Cooperative Societies has forwarded
the proposal of the Board of Directors of the said society and has requested
the Government to exempt the said society from the provisions of subrule (5)
of rule 182 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969 for the purpose of
regularizing the appointment of Smt. Usha M. K. in the post of Secretary of
the said society;
AND WHEREAS, the Government have considered the matter in detail
and are satisfied that it is necessary to exempt the Vayathur Vanitha Co
operative Society Limited No.C.1363 in Kannur District from the provisions of
subrule (5) of rule 182 of the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969 so as
to enable the said society to regularize the appointment of Smt. Usha M. K. in
the post of Secretary of the said society;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 181 of
the Kerala Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, the Government of Kerala
hereby exempt the Vayathur Vanitha Cooperative Society Limited No. C.1363
in Kannur District from the provisions of subrule (5) of rule 182 of the Kerala
Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969 so as to enable the said society to
regularize the appointment of Smt. Usha M. K. in the post of Secretary of the
said society.
