No. 1717/87 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 1071 dated 29^th December, 1987 in so

far as it relates to the location of Sakthikulangara Police Station, the Government of Kerala

hereby declare that the building bearing No. KMC/3/2376/1757 of Kollam Corporation in

Re-Survey No. 89/10 in Block No. I of Sakthikulangara Village in Kollam Taluk of Kollam

District shall be a Police Station known as “ Sakthikulangara Police Station”.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general

purport.)

Sakthikulangara Police Station is now functioning in a rented building and a new

building has been constructed for housing Sakthikulangara Police Station. Government

have decided to shift Sakthikulangara Police Station to the newly constructed building

bearing No. KMC/3/2376/1757 of Kollam Corporation in Re-Survey No. 89/10 in Block

No. I of Sakthikulangara Village in Kollam Taluk, Kollam District.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
