NOTIFICATION
WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 12A of the Kerala Land
Assignment Rules, 1964, the Government of Kerala have issued notification under G.O.
(P)No.101/2022/RD dated 18th March, 2022 and published as S.R.O. No.264/2022 in the Kerala

Gazette Extraordinary No. 925 dated 19th March, 2022 constituting Land Assignment Committee
for Tirurangadi and 6 other Taluks in Malappuram District with the representatives of various
political parties as members;
AND WHEREAS, the Government have decided to include representative of
Revolutionary Socialist Party (Leninist) in the existing Land Assignment Committee for
Tirurangadi Taluk in Malappuram District;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 12A of the
Kerala Land Assignment Rules, 1964, the Government of Kerala hereby include Sri.P.H.Faisal,
Palathingal House, Kuttur, Kooriyad.P.O., Tirurangadi, Malappuram District, representative of
the Revolutionary Socialist Party (Leninist) in the existing Land Assignment Committee,
Tirurangadi Taluk and consequently make the following amendment to the said notification.
AMENDMENT
In the SCHEDULE to the said notification, under the heading “ A.
TIRURANGADI TALUK”, under the sub-heading “ I. Representatives of all the Political Parties
having representation in the Kerala Legislative Assembly”, after serial number 11 and the entries
against it, the following serial number and entries shall respectively be added, namely:-
“ 12. Sri P.H. Faisal, ..
Revolutionary Socialist
Palathingal House, Party (Leninist).”

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general
purport.)
As per GO.(P)No.101/2022/RD), dated 18th March, 2022 and published as S.R.O
No.264/2022 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.925 dated 19th March, 2022 the
Government have constituted Land Assignment Committee for Tirurangadi and six other Taluks
in Malappuram District with the representatives of various political parties as its members. As
there is no representation from the Revolutionary Socialist Party (Leninist) in the existing Land
Assignment Committee for Tirurangadi Taluk, the Government have decided to include Sri P.H.
Faisal, Palathingal House, Kuttur, Kooriyad P.O., Tirurangadi as a member of the said
Committee
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
