NOTIFICATION
WHEREAS, the Government of Kerala have appointed Shri P.G. Manu (Mammalassery),
Advocate, Roll No.K/2216/99, MIG House No.9, Gandhi Nagar Road, Kadavanthra P.0., Kochi-20 as
Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No. 321/2018 of Varappuzha Police
Station as per notification issued under G.O.(Rt.)No.2802/2019/Home dated 15th October, 2019 and
published as S.R.O.No.755/2019 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.2449 dated 16th October,
2019;
AND WHEREAS, Shri P.G. Manu (Mammalassery) has been arrayed as an accused in Crime
No.754/2023 of Chottanikkara Police Station and he is not appearing before the Court to conduct the
Home (L) Department

terminate him from the said post;
NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub
-section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita,
2023 (Central Act 46 of 2023) read with sub-rules (2), (3) and (4) of rule11 of the Kerala Government
Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Services) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978 and in
supersession of the notification issued under G.O.(Rt.) No.2802/2019/Home dated 15th October, 2019
and published as S.R.O.No.755/2019 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.2449 dated 16th October,
2019, the Government of Kerala hereby appoint Shri A.Mohammed, Advocate, Ahana Mansion,
Ambadi Lane, Krishna Swami Road, Pulleppady, Kochi-35, as Special Public Prosecutor for the
conduct of prosecution in Crime No.321/2018 of Varappuzha Police Station on payment of fees
prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions
of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules, 1978.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
The Government have decided to terminate Shri. P.G. Manu (Mammalassery), Advocate as
Special Public Prosecutor from conducting the prosecution in Crime No. 321/2018 of Varappuzha
Police Station and have decided to appoint Shri A.Mohammed, Advocate, Ahana Mansion, Ambadi
Lane, Krishna Swami Road, Pulleppady, Kochi-35, as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of
prosecution in the said case, on payment of fees prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of the Kerala
Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases Rules,
1978.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
