NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of section 18 of the Building
and Other Construction Workers' (Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Act,1996
(Central Act 27 of 1996) read with rule 266 of the Building and Other Construction Workers'
(Regulation of Employment and Conditions of Service) Kerala Rules, 1998, the Government of Kerala
hereby appoint Sri.Suresh. A., Joint Secretary, Law Department, Government Secretariat,
Labour and Skills (J) Department

Thiruvananthapuram as member representing Government in the place of Smt. Umadevi S., Joint
Secretary, Law Department, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram in the Kerala Building and
Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board reconstituted as per notification issued under G.O. (P) No .
37/2023/LBR. dated 3rd April, 2023 and published as S.R.O No.469/2023 in the Kerala Gazette
Extraordinary No.1265 dated 4th April, 2023 and consequently make the following amendment to the
said notification ,namely:-
AMENDMENT
In the SCHEDULE to the said notification,under the heading "III. Members representing the
State Government ", for the entry against serial number 4, the following entry shall be substituted,
namely:-
"Sri Suresh. A.,
Joint Secretary,
Law Department,
Government Secretariat,
Thiruvananthapuram."

(This does not form part of notification,but is intended to indicate its general purport )
The Government have decided to appoint Sri Suresh A., Joint Secretary, Law Department,
Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram as the member representing State Government in place
of Smt.Umadevi.S, Joint Secretary, Government Secretariat,Thiruvananthapuram in the Kerala
Building and Other Construction Workers' Welfare Board reconstituted as per notification issued
under G.O (P) No.37/2023/LBR dated 3rd April, 2023 and published as S.R.O No.469/2023 in the
Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.1265 dated 4 th April,2023 and to amend the said notification
suitably.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
