20/2016 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No. 49 dated 8^th January, 2016 in so far as it

relates to the location of Chithara Police Station, the Government of Kerala hereby declare that

the building bearing No. IV/599-A in Chithara Grama Panchayath situated in Survey No.

204/25 of Chithara Village in Kottarakkara Taluk of Kollam District shall be a Police Station

known as ‘Chithara Police Station’.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general

purport.)

A new building has been constructed for housing Chithara Police Station. Government

have decided to shift the Chithara Police Station to the newly constructed building bearing No.

IV/599-A in Chithara Grama Panchayath situated in Survey No. 204/25 of Chithara Village in

Kottarakkara Taluk of Kollam District.

This notification is intended to achieve the above object.
