GOVERNMENT OF KERALA
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso to subsection 7 of section 19 of the Right to
Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013
(Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the
declaration as per sub-section 1 of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of
section 11 as per Proceedings No. DCKKD/6009/2022-B4 dated 19th August 2023 and published in the
Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2830 dated 26th August 2023, namely:-

Extension
Proceedings No. DCKKD/6009/2022-B4 dated 19th August 2023 and published in the Extra
Ordinary Gazette No. 2830 dated 26th August 2023 has been issued in accordance with the provisions
of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land
Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 0.00577
Hectares of land in Kunnamangalam Village of Kozhikode district for the Improvements to
Kummangottuthazam - Pandaraparambu - Pantheerpadam road from Peryvattipara to
Pantheerpadam.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Kozhikode has reported that as per Section 19 (7) of
LARR Act, 2013, the 19 (1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of
issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per
Proceedings No. DCKKD/6009/2022-B4 dated 19th August 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary
Gazette No. 2830 dated 26th August 2023 expired on 25/08/2024 and therefore requested to extend
the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration
for a further period of 6 months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification ie. 25/08/2024 by
invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to
the acquisition of 0.00577 Hectares of land in Kunnamangalam Village of Kozhikode district for the
Improvements to Kummangottuthazam - Pandaraparambu - Pantheerpadam road from Peryvattipara
to Pantheerpadam subject to the condition that no more extension be granted under any
circumstances.

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport)
Proceedings No. DCKKD/6009/2022-B4 dated 19th August 2023 and published in the Extra
Ordinary Gazette No. 2830 dated 26th August 2023 has been issued in accordance with the provisions
of subsection (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land
Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 0.00577
Hectares of land in Kunnamangalam Village of Kozhikode district for the Improvements to
Kummangottuthazam - Pandaraparambu - Pantheerapadam road from Peryvattipara to
Pantheerapadam. As per Section 19(7) of LARR Act, 2013, the 19(1) Declaration has to be published
within 12 months from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the
11(1) Notification issued as per Proceedings No. DCKKD/6009/2022-B4 dated 19th August 2023 and
published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2830 dated 26th August 2023 expired on 25/08/2024 and
hereby extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
