Sub:—Election to the Finance Committee as per Item Nos. (c), (d) and (e) under
sub-section (2) of Section 31 of the Calicut University Act, 1975.
NOTIFICATION
WHEREAS, it has become necessary to reconstitute the Finance Committee of the
University of Calicut, in accordance with the provisions of the Calicut University Act,
1975, it is hereby notified that an election will be held according to the principles of
proportional representation by means of single transferable vote and in accordance with the
procedure laid down in the Statutes on Election to elect one member each from the members
of the Senate, the Syndicate and the Academic Council as per item Nos. (c), (d) and (e)
under sub-section (2) of Section 31 of the Calicut University Act, 1975.

Nomination paper in the prescribed form can be had free of cost from the Registrar and
Returning Officer, on application by an elector whose name is in the Electoral Roll. The
nomination paper shall reach the Returning Officer, the University of Calicut, Calicut
University P. O. or cause to be deposited in the box specifically provided for the purpose in
the Office of the Returning Officer within the date and hour fixed.
