ORDER

WHEREAS, under the provisions of sub-rule (1) of Rule 183 of the Kerala

Co-operative Societies Rules, 1969, a candidate for appointment by direct recruitment

must have completed eighteen years and must not have completed forty years of age on

the 1^st January of the calendar year in which the applications for appointment are invited.

Provided that the upper age limit shall be raised by five years in the case of candidate

AND WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Thudayannoor Service Co-

operative Bank Limited No. Q 371 in Kollam District has resolved to request the

Government to exempt the said Bank from the provisions of sub-rule (1) of Rule 183 of

the Kerala Co-operative Societies Rules, 1969 for the purpose of appointing Smt. Sreeja

T L whose date of birth is 15^th March, 1980 as Pharmacist and Smt. Fathima Kunju M

whose date of birth is 01^st May, 1969 as Helper in the Neethi Medical Store functioning

under the said Bank for taking into consideration of their service in the said Bank;

AND WHEREAS, the Registrar of Co-operative Societies has forwarded the

proposal to the Government to exempt the said bank from the provisions of sub-rule (1)

of Rule 183 of the said Rules, for the purpose of appointing Smt. Sreeja T L as

Pharmacist and Smt. Fathima Kunju M as Helper in the Neethi Medical Store

functioning under the said Bank;

AND WHEREAS, the Government have examined the matter in detail and are

satisfied that it is necessary to exempt the Thudayannoor Service Co-operative Bank

Limited No.Q 371 in Kollam District from the provisions of sub-rule (1) of Rule 183 of

the Kerala Co-operative Societies Rules, 1969 so as to enable the said bank to appoint

Smt. Sreeja T L as Pharmacist and Smt. Fathima Kunju M as Helper in the Neethi

Medical Store functioning under the said Bank, taking into consideration of their service

in the said Medical Store;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 181 of the

Kerala Co-operative Societies Rules, 1969, the Government of Kerala hereby exempt

the Thudayannoor Service Co-operative Bank Limited No.Q 371 in Kollam District

from the provisions of sub-rule (1) of Rule 183 of the said Rules, so as to enable the said

bank to appoint Smt. Sreeja T L as Pharmacist and Smt. Fathima Kunju M as Helper in

the Neethi Medical Store functioning under the said Bank taking into consideration of

their service in the said Medical Store.

Explanatory Note

purport.)

As per sub-rule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Co-operative Societies Rules, 1969, a

candidate for appointment by direct recruitment must have completed eighteen years and

must not have completed forty years of age on the 1^st day of January of the calendar year

in which the application for appointment are invited. Provided that, the upper age limit
