in the aggregate;

AND  WHEREAS,  the   said   term   of   one   year   of   the   administrator   or

administrative committee appointed under sub­section(1) of section 33 of the

said   Act   to   manage   the   affairs   of   the   Engandiyoor   Pattikajathi   Service

Sahakarana Sangham Limited No. P 401 in Thrissur District expired on 26^th

December, 2024;

AND WHEREAS, under sub­section (1A) of section 33 of the said Act, the

Government may, by notification in the Gazette, for reasons to be recorded,

permit the Registrar of Co­operative Societies to extend the term of the said

administrator or administrative committee for a further period not exceeding one

year in the aggregate or till a newly elected committee enters upon office,

whichever is earlier; 

AND WHEREAS, the Registrar of Co­operative Societies has reported that

the election to the Board of Directors of the said society could not be conducted

within the term of the administrator   due to some technical reason and   has

requested to extend the term of the administrator for a further period of one year

from   27^th  December,   2024   to   26^th  December,   2025   or   till   a   newly   elected

committee   enters   upon   office,   whichever   is   earlier   to   avoid   administrative

vacuum in the said society;

AND WHEREAS, the Government have considered the matter in detail and

are satisfied that it is necessary, in public interest, to permit Registrar of Co­

operative Societies to extend the term of the administrator  appointed to manage

the affairs of the Engandiyoor Pattikajathi Service Sahakarana Sangham Limited

No.   P   401   in   Thrissur   District   for   a   further   period   of   one   year   from   27^th

December, 2024 to 26^th December, 2025 or till a newly elected committee enters

upon office, whichever is earlier;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub­section (1A)

of section 33 of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Act, 1969 (21 of 1969), the

Government of Kerala hereby permit the Registrar of Co­operative Societies to

extend the term of the administrator or administrative committee appointed to

manage the affairs of the Engandiyoor Pattikajathi Service Sahakarana Sangham

Limited No. P 401 in Thrissur District for a further period of one year 27^th

 Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended  to indicate its

general purport.)

The   term   of   the   administrator   or   administrative   committee   appointed

under sub­section (1) of section 33 of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Act, 1969

(21 of 1969)  to manage the affairs of the Engandiyoor Pattikajathi Service

Sahakarana Sangham Limited No. P 401 in Thrissur District expired on 26^th

December, 2024. The Registrar of Co­operative Societies has reported that the

election to the Board of Directors of the said society could not be conducted

before the expiry of the term of the administrator and has  requested to extend

the   term   of   the   administrator   for   a   further   period   of   one   year   from   27^th

December, 2024 to 26^th December, 2025 or till an elected committee enters upon

office whichever is earlier to avoid administrative vacuum in the said society. The

Government have examined the matter in detail and are satisfied that it is

necessary, in public interest, to permit the Registrar of Co­operative Societies to

extend the term of the administrator appointed to manage the affairs of the said

society for a further period of one year 27^th December, 2024 to 26^th  December,

2025 or till an elected committee enters upon office whichever is earlier, to avoid

administrative vacuum in the said society.

This notification is intended to achieve the above object.
