In exercise of the powers conferred by section 14 of the
Kerala Headload Workers Act, 1978 (20 of 1980) read with rule 4 of the Kerala
Headload Workers Rules, 1981, the Government of Kerala hereby nominate Smt. N.K.
Chandra, Additional Secretary to Government, Labour and Skills Department,

Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram as the member representing the
Government in the place of Smt. Shija C.G., Joint Secretary to Government, Labour and
Skills Department, Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram in the Kerala
Headload Workers Welfare Board reconstituted as per notification issued under G.O.(P)
No.7/2023/LBR. dated 7th January, 2023 and published as S.R.O. No. 21/2023 in the
Kerala Gazette Extraordinary No.79 dated 9th January, 2023 and consequently make the
following amendment to the said notification, namely:-
AMENDMENT
In the schedule to the said notification, under the sub-heading “III.
Members representing Government”, for the entry against serial number 1, the following
entry shall be substituted, namely:-
“ Smt. N.K. Chandra,
Additional Secretary to Government,
Labour and Skills Department,
Government Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram.”.

Explanatory Note
(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general
purport.)
The Government have decided to nominate Smt. N.K. Chandra, Additional
Secretary to Government, Labour and Skills Department, Government
Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram as member representing the Government in
the Kerala Headload Workers Welfare Board reconstituted as per notification
issued under G.O.(P) No.7/2023/LBR. dated 7th
January, 2023 and
published as S.R.O. No. 21/2023 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary
No.79 dated 9th January, 2023 due to the transfer of Smt. Shija C.G.,
Joint Secretary to Government, Labour and Skills Department, Government
Secretariat, Thiruvananthapuram and to amend the said notification suitably.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
