In exercise of the powers conferred under clause (u) of section 2 of

the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Central Act 46 of 2023) read with section 5 of

the Kerala Police Act, 2011 (8 of 2011) the Government of Kerala hereby declare that the

building bearing No. 646/B situated in Resurvey No. 486/1 in Ward No. VIII of Madhur

Gramapanchayath, Kudlu Village, Kasaragod Taluk, Kasaragod District shall be a Police

Station known as ‘Cyber Crime Police Station, Kasaragod’ and make the following

consequential amendment to the notification issued under G. O. (P) No. 52/2020/Home dated

28^th October, 2020 and published as S.R.O. No. 740/2020 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary

No. 2553 dated 28^th October, 2020, namely:-

AMENDMENT

In the schedule to the said notification, for the entries in column (1) against Serial

No.19, the following entries shall be substituted, namely: “Building No. 646/B situated in

Resurvey No. 486/1 in Ward No. VIII of Madhur Gramapanchayath, Kudlu Village, Kasaragod

Taluk, Kasaragod District.”

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general

purport.)

A new building has been constructed for housing Cyber Crime Police Station,

Kasaragod. Government have decided to shift the Cyber Crime Police Station, Kasaragod to

the newly constructed building bearing No. 646/B, situated in Resurvey No. 486/1 in Ward No.

VIII of Madhur Gramapanchayath, Kudlu Village, Kasaragod Taluk, Kasaragod District.

This notification is intended to achieve the above object.
