ORDER
G.O. (Rt.) No. 7/2025/LBR.
Thiruvananthapuram, 1st January 2025.
Whereas, the Government are of opinion that an industrial dispute exists between
(1) The Principal, Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Science, Chalakka, North Kuthiyathodu P. O.,
Ernakulam-683 594, (2) the President/Secretary, Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Science,
Chalakka, North Kuthiyathodu P. O., Ernakulam-683 594, (3) Manager of Institution, Sree Narayana
Institute of Medical Science, Chalakka, North Kuthiyathodu P. O., Ernakulam-683 594 and the
workers of the above referred establishment as per Annexure-1 represented by the President, Kerala
State Private Co-operative Employees Association (INTUC), S.N.I.M.S. Unit, Chalakka in respect of
matters mentioned in the annexure to this order;
And whereas, in the opinion of Government it is necessary to refer the said industrial
dispute for adjudication;
Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 10(1) (c) of the Industrial
Disputes Act of 1947 (Central Act XIV of 1947) the Government hereby direct that the said
industrial dispute be referred for adjudication to the Labour Court, Ernakulam. The Labour Court will
pass the award within a period of three months.
ANNEXURE
“Whether demand of the trade union for confirmation in employment of 20 workers of
Sree Narayana Institute of Medical Science, Chalakka, North Kuthiyathode P. O.,
Ernakulam-683 594 is justifiable or not? If not what are reliefs the workers are
entitled?’’
