ORDER

In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 78 of the Registration Act,

1908 (Central Act XVI of 1908), the Government of Kerala, being of the opinion that, it is necessary in

the public interest so to do, hereby remit the fee payable under the said Act for the registration of the

instruments of conveyance of an extent of 213.26 cents of land comprised in Re-Survey No. 52/2,3,

T.S.No. 180 of 181-Vayalalam Desam of Thiruvangad Village in Thalassery Taluk in Kannur District at

Taxes (J) Department

G.O.(P) No.11/2025/TAXES.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the order, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)

The Director, Malabar Cancer Centre – Post Graduate Institute of Oncology Sciences &

Research has requested the Government to grant exemption from payment of registration fee required

for the registration of the instruments of conveyance of an extent of 213.26 cents of land comprised in

Re-Survey No. 52/2,3, T.S.No. 180 of 181-Vayalalam Desam of Thiruvangad Village in Thalassery

Taluk in Kannur Districtat free of cost to the Malabar Cancer Centre- Post Graduate Institute of

Oncology Sciences and Research by Dr. Hermann Gundert Foundation. The Government have now

decided to allow the request in public interest.

The order is intended to achieve the above object.
