NOTIFICATION

As per order No. 32903/G1/2008/H&FWD dated 8-7-2009 and Section 60(1) of the

Kerala Public Health Act, 2023, published in the Kerala Gazette No. 354/Leg.H1/2021/Law

dated 28th November 2023, the Government may, by notification, or any authority generally

or specially authorised by the Government, declare any area of the State as a festival area for a

specified period and make necessary arrangements and impose restrictions with regard to public

health.

In exercise of the powers thus conferred upon me, in pursuance to section 60(1) of the

Kerala Public Health Act, 2023, I hereby declare that the area specified in the Schedule below

shall, be a notified festival centre for a period of 10 days commencing on 11-2-2026 and ending

on 20-2-2026 in connection with the Festival of Darsanavattom Sree Ayiravilly Temple,

Altharamood, Nagaroor, Thiruvananthapuram and define the said area for the purpose aforesaid

be the sites for the said festival on condition that the Temple authorities mentioned in the

Annexure, are liable to comply the orders of Honorable Supreme Court and the order of District

Collector’s No. S9-54315/14 dated 1-11-2014 regarding the noise pollution and ensure that all

the sound amplifying equipments shall be hired from only those mike operators who have

registered with the District Administration.
