ORDER

WHEREAS, under the provision to sub­rule (1) of Rule 183 of the Kerala Co­

operative Societies Rules, 1969, a candidate for appointment by direct recruitment

must have completed eighteen years and must not have completed forty years of age on

the 1^st  day of January of the calendar year in which the applications for appointment

are invited. Provided that the upper age limit shall be raised by five years in the case of

AND WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Korom Service Co­operative Bank

Ltd No:F 1369 in Kannur District has resolved to request the Government to exempt the

said Bank from the provisions of sub­rule (1) of Rule 183 of the Kerala Co­operative

Societies Rules,1969 for the purpose of regularising the appointment of Smt.Sreeja A.V.

whose date of birth is 25^th July, 1975 as Part Time Sweeper in the said Bank with effect

from 17^th  May, 2022 taking into consideration of her service in the Bank ;

AND   WHEREAS,   the   Registrar   of   Co­operative   Societies   has   submitted   the

proposal to the Government to exempt the said Bank from the provisions of sub rule

(1) of Rule 183 of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Rules 1969, for the limited purpose

of regularising the appointment of Smt. Sreeja A.V. with effect from 17^th May, 2022 , as

Part Time Sweeper in the said Bank ;

AND WHEREAS, the Government have considered that it is necessary to exempt

the Korom Service Co­operative Bank Ltd No:F 1369 in Kannur District from the

provisions of sub­rule (1) of Rule 183 of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Rules, 1969

for the limited purpose of enabling the said Bank to regularise the appointment of Smt.

Sreeja A.V. with effect from 17^th  May, 2022 as Part Time Sweeper in the said Bank ;

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by rule 181 of the Kerala

Co­operative  Societies   Rules,   1969,   the   Government  of  Kerala  hereby  exempt  the

Korom Service Co­operative Bank Ltd No:F 1369 in Kannur District from the provisions

of sub­rule (1) of Rule 183 of the said Rules, so as to enable the said Bank to regularise

the appointment of Smt. Sreeja A .V. as Part Time Sweeper in the said Bank with effect

from 17^th  May, 2022 taking into consideration of her service in the Bank .

As per sub rule (1) of rule 183 of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Rule,1969 a

calendar year in which the application for appointment are invited. Provided that the

upper age limit shall be raised by five years in the case of candidate belonging to any of

the Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe and by three years in the case of candidates

belonging to any of the Other Backward Classes . The Board of Directors of the Korom

Service Co­operative Bank Ltd No:F 1369 in Kannur District has resolved to request the

Government to exempt the said Bank from the provisions of sub­rule (1) of Rule 183

of the Kerala Co­operative Societies Rules, 1969, so as to enable the said Bank to

regularise the appointment of Smt. Sreeja A. V. as Part Time Sweeper in the said Bank

with effect from 17^th  May, 2022. The Government have considered the matter in detail

and have decided to exempt the said Bank from the above provisions of the sub rule(1)

of  rule   183   of   the  Kerala  Co­operative   Societies  Rules,  1969,  for  the   purpose  of

enabling the said Bank to regularise the appointment of Smt. Sreeja A .V. as Part Time

Sweeper in the said Bank with effect from 17^th  May, 2022 taking into consideration of

her service in the Bank.

The order is intended to achieve the above object.
