GOVERNMENT OF KERALA
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Right to Fair Compensation and
Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013),
the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the Award as per Section 25 to
the Declaration issued under subsection (1) of Section 19 as per Proceedings No.K5/357887/2021
dated 04th July 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2158 dated 05th July 2024,
namely:-

Extension
As per Proceedings No.K5/357887/2021 dated 04th July 2024 and published in the Extra
Ordinary Gazette No.2158 dated 05th July 2024, the Declaration in accordance with the provisions of
subsection (1) of Section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,
Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of the land in Peroorkkada
and Kudappanakunnu villages for construction of Peroorkkada Flyover has been issued.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that as per Section
25 of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the Collector shall make an Award within a period of 12 months
from the date of issuance of 19(1) Declaration ie, the 19(1) Declaration issued as per Proceedings
No.K5/357887/2021 dated 04th July 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2158 dated
05th July 2024 and extended as per G.O.(P) No.248/2025/RD dated 7th July 2025 and published in the
Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2516 dated 7th July 2025 expires on 04/01/2026, and therefore requested
to extend the time limit in publishing the Award.
NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Award for a
further period of six months from the date of expiry of the 19(1) Declaration ie, 04/01/2026 by invoking
the provisions contained in Section 25 of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of the land
in Peroorkkada and Kudappanakunnu villages for construction of Peroorkkada Flyover.

Proceedings No.K5/357887/2021 dated 04th July 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary
Gazette No.2158 dated 05th July 2024, has been issued in accordance with the provisions of
subsection (1) of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,
Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of the land in Peroorkkada
and Kudappanakunnu villages for construction of Peroorkkada Flyover. As per Section 25 of LARR
Act, 2013 mentions that the Collector shall make an Award within a period of 12 months from the date
of issuance of 19(1) Declaration i.e, the 19(1) Declaration issued as per Proceedings
No.K5/357887/2021 dated 04th July 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No. 2158 dated
05th July 2024 and extended as per G.O.(P) No.248/2025/RD dated 7th July 2025 and published in the
Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2516 dated 7th July 2025 expires on 04/01/2026 and hereby extend the
time limit for publishing the Award.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
