NOTIFICATION

WHEREAS, the Government of Kerala have assigned the additional charge of the Member

of District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Idukki to both Sri K. M. Anto,

Member, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Kottayam and a Member of the

above Commission of Ernakulam District vide G. O. (Rt.) No. 48/2025/CAD dated 18th

September, 2025;

AND WHEREAS, the Government have decided to exempt the Member, District

Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Ernakulam from the additional charge and assign

the same solely to Sri K. M. Anto, Member, DistrictConsumer..Disputes Redressal

Commission, Kottayam.

NOW, THEREFORE, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 32 of the Consumer

Protection Act, 2019 (Central Act 35 of 2019), the Government of Kerala hereby assign the

additional charge of Member, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Idukki to

Sri K. M. Anto, Member, District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, Kottayam.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)

Government have decided to assign the additional charge of Member, District

Commission, Idukki to Sri K. M. Anto, Member, District Commission, Kottayam by

exempting the Member, District Commission, Ernakulam from the additional charge assigned

to him vide G. O. (Rt.) No. 48/2025/CAD dated 18th September, 2025.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
