 Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended  to indicate its

general purport.)

As per sub­section (1) of Section 88 of the Kerala Co­operative Societies

Act, 1969 (21 of 1969), the Government shall by notification in the Gazette,

constitute a Circle Co­operative Union for each circle in the state. Elections to the

Circle Co­operative Union mentioned above were held by the Returning officer

appointed as per rule 129 of the Cooperative Societies Rules, 1969, after due

publication of the notification. The Government have decided to notify the Circle

Cooperative  Union constituted with the elected  representative and ex­officio

members for Muvattupuzha Circle Cooperative Union.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
