NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Right to Fair Compensation and
Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013),
the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the Award as per Section 25 to
the Declaration issued under subsection (1) of Section 19 as per Proceedings No.C5-
2977/2019/DCEKM dated 20th June, 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2058 dated
22nd June 2022, namely :-

Extension
Proceedings No.C5-2977/2019/DCEKM dated 20th June, 2022 and published in the Extra
Ordinary Gazette No. 2058 dated 22nd June, 2022, has been issued in accordance with the provisions
of subsection (1) of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land
Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land in
Velloorkunnam & Maradi Villages of Ernakulam district for the widening of MC Road from
Muvattupuzha Post Office Junction to Pettah.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Ernakulam has reported that as per Section 25 of
LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the Collector shall make an Award within a period of 12 months from
the date of issuance of 19(1) Declaration ie, the 19(1) Declaration issued as per Proceedings No.C5-
2977/2019/DCEKM dated 20th June, 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2058 dated
22nd June, 2022 and extended as per G.O(P) No.136/2023/RD dated 02nd June 2023 and published in
the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.1874 dated 05th June 2023, G.O.(P)No.317/2023/RD dated 14th
December 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.4090 dated 14th December 2023,
G.O.(P)No.342/2024/RD dated 31st December 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette
No.111 dated 13th January 2025 and G.O.(P) No.242/2025/RD dated 4th July 2025 and published in
the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2509 dated 5th July 2025 expired on 21/12/2025, and therefore
requested to extend the time limit in publishing the Award.
NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Award for a
further period of six months from the date of expiry of 19(1) Declaration ie, 21/12/2025 by invoking the
provisions contained in Section 25 of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land in
Velloorkunnam & Maradi Villages of Ernakulam district for the widening of MC Road from
Muvattupuzha Post Office Junction to Pettah.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
