GOVERNMENT OF KERALA
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 25 of the Right to Fair Compensation and
Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013),
the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the Award as per Section 25 to
the Declaration issued under subsection (1) of Section 19 as per G.O.(P)No.165/2023/RD dated 07th
July 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2265 dated 07th July 2023, namely:-

Extension
As per G.O.(P)No.165/2023/RD dated 07th July 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary
Gazette No.2265 dated 07th July 2023, the Declaration in accordance with the provisions of subsection
(1) of Section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,
Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for the development of
Vazhayila –Nedumangad Road from Vazhayila to Keltron Junction stretch (Reach I) included in the
four laning of Vazhayila - Nedumangad – Pazhakutti Road has been issued.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that Section 25 of
LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the Collector shall make an Award within a period of 12 months from
the date of issuance of 19(1) Declaration i.e, the 19(1) Declaration issued as per
G.O.(P)No.165/2023/RD dated 07th July 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2265
dated 07th July 2023 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.157/2024/RD dated 12th July 2024 and published
in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.2297 dated 18th July 2024, G.O.(P) No.69/2025/RD dated 20th
February 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.724 dated 25th February 2025 and
G.O.(P) No.360/2025/RD dated 10th September 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette
No.3215 dated 10th September 2025 expired on 06/01/2026, and therefore requested to extend the
time limit in publishing the Award.
NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Award for a
further period of six months from the date of expiry of the 19(1) Declaration ie. 06/01/2026 by invoking
the provisions contained in Section 25 of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for
the development of Vazhayila - Nedumangad road from Vazhayila to Keltron Junction stretch (Reach I)
included in the four laning of Vazhayila - Nedumangad – Pazhakutti Road.

G.O.(P)No.165/2023/RD dated 07th July 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.
2265 dated 07th July 2023, has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of
section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and
Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for the development of Vazhayila –

September 2025 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.3215 dated 10th September 2025
expired on 06/01/2026 and hereby extend the time limit for publishing the Award.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
