GOVERNMENT OF KERALA
NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso to sub-section 7 of section 19 of the Right to
Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013
(Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the
declaration as per sub-section 1 of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of
section 11 as per G.O(P) No.19/2021/RD dated 1st February 2021 and published in the Extra Ordinary
Gazette No.543 dated 5th February 2021, namely:-

Extension
G.O.(P) No.19/2021/RD dated 1st February 2021 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette
No. 543 dated 5th February 2021 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1)
of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation
and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for Kunjipally - Pulleppy road as part
of Kannur City Road Improvement Project.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Kannur has reported that as per Section 19(7) of LARR
Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the date of
issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued as per
G.O.(P) No.19/2021/RD dated 1st February 2021 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.543
dated 5th February 2021 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.50/2022/RD dated 03rd February 2022 and
published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.398 dated 03rd February 2022, G.O(P) No.276/2022/RD
dated 31st October, 2022 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.3696 dated 31st October
2022, G.O(P) 17/2023/RD dated 20th January, 2023 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette
No.247 dated 20th January, 2023, G.O(P) 284/2023/RD dated 09th November 2023 and published in
the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.3631 dated 10th November 2023, G.O.(P)No.43/2024/RD dated
01/02/2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette No.402 dated 01st February 2024 and
G.O.(P) No.215/2024/RD dated 22nd September 2024 and published in the Extra Ordinary Gazette
No.3027 dated 26th September 2024 expired on 04-02-2025 and therefore requested to extend the
time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration
for a further period of twelve months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification ie. 04-02-2025 by
invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to
the acquisition of land for Kunjipally -Pulleppy road as part of Kannur City Road Improvement Project.
