NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso to sub-section (7) of section 19 of the Right
to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act,
2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the
declaration as per sub-section (1) of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of
section 11 as per Proceedings No.K2-500754/2022 dated 02nd August 2024 and published in the
Extraordinary Gazette No.2576 dated 07th August 2024, namely:-

Extension
Proceedings No.K2-500754/2022 dated 02nd August 2024 and published in the Extraordinary
Gazette No.2576 dated 07th August 2024 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-
section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,
Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 for the acquisition of 47.6 Ares of land in Varkala Village of
Thiruvananthapuram district for the construction of Punnamoodu ROB.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that as per Section
19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months
from the date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification
issued as per Proceedings No.K2-500754/2022 dated 02nd August 2024 and published in the
Extraordinary Gazette No.2576 dated 07th August 2024 and extended as per G.O.(P) No.288/2025/RD
dated 4th August 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.2872 dated 5th August 2025 and
G.O.(P) No.65/2026/RD dated 10th February 2026 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.586
dated 11th February 2026 expired on 06/08/2026 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for
publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
NOW THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Declaration
for a further period of six months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification ie. 06/08/2026 by
invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act, 2013 for the
acquisition of 47.6 Ares of land in Varkala Village of Thiruvananthapuram district for the construction
of Punnamoodu ROB.

06/08/2026 and hereby extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
