NOTIFICATION

In exercise of the powers conferred by 2^nd proviso to sub-section (7) of section 19 of the Right

to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act,

2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Kerala hereby extend the time limit in publishing the

declaration as per sub-section (1) of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of

section 11 as per Proceedings No.DCKKD/211/2022-B2 dated 2^nd August 2024 and published in the

Extraordinary Gazette No.2575 dated 07^th August 2024, namely:-

Extension

Proceedings No.DCKKD/211/2022-B2 dated 2^nd August 2024 and published in the

Extraordinary Gazette No.2575 dated 07th August 2024 has been issued in accordance with the

provisions of sub-section (1) of section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land

Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for the

construction of Naderikkadavu bridge and approach road in Viyyur and Keezhariyoor villages in

Kozhikode district.

AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Kozhikode has reported that as per Section 19(7) of

LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19(1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months from the

date of issuance of 11(1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1) Notification issued

as per Proceedings No.DCKKD/211/2022-B2 dated 2^nd August 2024 and published in the Extraordinary

Gazette No.2575 dated 07^th August 2024 and extended as per G.O.(P) No.294/2025/RD dated 14^th

August 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.2981 dated 18^th August 2025 and G.O.(P)

No.74/2026/RD dated 19^th February 2026 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.704 dated 20^th

February 2026 expired on 06/08/2026 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing

the 19(1) Declaration.

NOW, THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the

Declaration for a further period of six months from the date of expiry of the 11(1) notification

ie.06/08/2026 by invoking the provisions contained in 2nd proviso to Section 19(7) of the LARR Act,

2013 with regard to the acquisition of land for the construction of Naderikkadavu bridge and approach

road in Viyyur and Keezhariyoor villages in Kozhikode district.

Explanatory Note

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)

Proceedings No.DCKKD/211/2022-B2 dated 2^nd August 2024 and published in the

Extraordinary Gazette No.2575 dated 07^th August 2024, has been issued in accordance with the

extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.

The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
