No. HCKL/1070/2024-A5.

In exercise of the powers conferred by Article 229 of the Constitution of India, the Honourable

the Chief Justice hereby makes the following amendment to the Kerala High Court Service Rules, 2007,

namely:

Amendment (C.S. No. 103)

In the Rules,

the following words shall be inserted in Rule 17(2), after the words “Head

Translator” and before the word “Cataloguer”

“Superintendent (Vehicles)”

The above amendment will come into force with immediate effect.

Explanatory Note

(.This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)

The above amendment is brought into force with the intention of protecting the service benefits of

an officer appointed by transfer to the post of Superintendent (Vehicles) and to facilitate the Honourable

the Chief Justice to post back an officer in the category of Superintendent (Vehicles) to his parent cadre,

once he loses the pleasure of the Honourable the Chief Justice.
