NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by 2nd proviso to sub-section (7) of section 19 of the Right
to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act,
2013 (Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Keralam hereby extend the time limit in publishing
the declaration as per sub-section 1 of section 19 to the Notification issued under sub-section (1) of
section 11 as per G.O.(P)No.203/2023/RD dated 23rd August 2023 and published in the Extraordinary
Gazette No.2810 dated 24th August 2023, namely:-

Extension
G.O.(P)No.203/2023/RD dated 23rd August 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette
No.2810 dated 24th August 2023 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1) of
section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and
Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 3.7204 Hectares of land in Vizhinjam Village
of Thiruvanthapuram District for Indian Coast Guard, Vizhinjam for planned projects like Marine
Pollution Response Cell, Diving Cell, Chain of Coastal Surveillance System etc.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that as per Section
19(7) of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the 19 (1) Declaration has to be published within 12 months
from the date of issuance of 11 (1) Notification (preliminary notification) and that the 11(1)
Notification issued as per G.O.(P)No.203/2023/RD dated 23rd August 2023 and published in the
Extraordinary Gazette No.2810 dated 24th August 2023 and extended as per G.O.(P)No.246/2024/RD
dated 15th October 2024 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.3438 dated 28th October 2024,
G.O.(P) No.181/2025/RD dated 26th April 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1642
dated 30th April 2025, G.O.(P) No.410/2025/RD dated 10th October 2025 and published in the
Extraordinary Gazette No.3624 dated 13th October 2025 and G.O.(P) No.64/2026/RD dated 10th
February 2026 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.587 dated 11th February 2026 expired on
21/08/2026 and therefore requested to extend the time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
NOW, THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the
Declaration for a further period of six months from 22/08/2026 by invoking the provisions contained in
2nd proviso to Section 19 (7) of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 3.7204 Hectares
of land in Vizhinjam Village of Thiruvanthapuram District for Indian Coast Guard, Vizhinjam for
planned projects like Marine Pollution Response Cell, Diving Cell, Chain of Coastal Surveillance
System etc.

G.O.(P)No.203/2023/RD dated 23rd August 2023 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette
No.2810 dated 24th August 2023 has been issued in accordance with the provisions of subsection (1) of
section 11 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and
Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 3.7204 Hectares of land in Vizhinjam Village

dated 26th April 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.1642 dated 30th April 2025,
G.O.(P) No.410/2025/RD dated 10th October 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.3624
dated 13th October 2025 and G.O.(P) No.64/2026/RD dated 10th February 2026 and published in the
Extraordinary Gazette No.587 dated 11th February 2026 expired on 21/08/2026 and therefore extend the
time limit for publishing the 19(1) Declaration.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
