NOTIFICATION
In exercise of the powers conferred by 1st proviso to Section 25 of the Right to Fair
Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013
(Central Act 30 of 2013), the Government of Keralam hereby extend the time limit in publishing the
Award as per Section 25 to the Declaration issued under sub-section (1) of Section 19 as per
G.O.(P)No.71/2025/RD dated 20th February 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.725
dated 25th February 2025, namely:-

Extension
G.O.(P)No.71/2025/RD dated 20th February 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette
No.725 dated 25th February 2025, the Declaration in accordance with the provisions of sub-section (1)
of Section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation
and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 1.5808 Hectares of land in Thycaud,
Nemom and Pallichal villages of Thiruvananthapuram District for the doubling of track between
Thiruvananthapuram and Nemom (non doubling side) has been issued.
AND WHEREAS, the District Collector, Thiruvananthapuram has reported that as per Section
25 of LARR Act, 2013 mentions that the Collector shall make an Award within a period of 12 months
from the date of issuance of 19(1) Declaration ie, the 19(1) Declaration issued as per
G.O.(P)No.71/2025/RD dated 20th February 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.725
dated 25th February 2025 and extended as per G.O.(P) No.84/2026/RD dated 20th February 2026 and
published in the Extraordinary Gazette No.725 dated 20th February 2026 expired on 24-08-2026 and
therefore requested to extend the time limit in publishing the Award.
NOW, THEREFORE, sanction is accorded to extend the time limit in publishing the Award for
a further period of six months from 25-08-2026 by invoking the provisions contained in 1st proviso to
Section 25 of the LARR Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 1.5808 Hectares of land in
Thycaud, Nemom and Pallichal villages of Thiruvananthapuram District for the doubling of track
between Thiruvananthapuram and Nemom (non doubling side).

G.O.(P)No.71/2025/RD dated 20th February 2025 and published in the Extraordinary Gazette
No.725 dated 25th February 2025, has been issued in accordance with the provisions of sub section (1)
of section 19 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation
and Resettlement Act, 2013 with regard to the acquisition of 1.5808 Hectares of land in Thycaud,
Nemom and Pallichal villages of Thiruvananthapuram District for the doubling of track between
Thiruvananthapuram and Nemom (non doubling side). As per Section 25 of LARR Act, 2013
