WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section

51 of the Kerala Town and Country Planning Act, 2016 (9 of 2016), the Goshree Island

Development Authority has been constituted as per notification issued under G. O. (P) No.

29/2018/LSGD, dated 17^th April, 2018 and published as S. R. O. No. 276/2018 in the Kerala

Gazette Extraordinary No. 1181 dated 3^rd May, 2018;

And Whereas, as per notifications issued under G. O. (P) No. 6/2022/LSGD dated 19^th January,

2022 and published as S. R. O. No. 91/2022, 92/2022, 93/2022 in the Kerala Gazette Extraordinary

No. 309 dated 25^th January, 2022 the Government of Kerala have appointed the Chairman and

Members of the General Council and Executive Committee of the Goshree Island Development

Authority;

Now, Therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 52 of the Kerala Town and

Country Planning Act, 2016 (9 of 2016), read with rule 5 of the Kerala Town and Country Planning

(Development Authorities) Rules, 2015, and in supersession of the notification-I issued under G. O.

(P) 6/2022/LSGD dated 19^th January, 2022 and published as S. R. O. No. 91/2022 in the Kerala

Gazette Extraordinary No. 309 dated 25^th January, 2022, The Government of Kerala hereby appoint

Chief Minister of Kerala as the Chairman of the Goshree Island Development Authority. The term

of office of the Chairman shall be five years.

As per notification issued under G. O. (P) No. 29/2018/LSGD. dated, 17^th April, 2018
