In exercise of the powers conferred by sub - section (8) of section 18 of the Bharatiya
Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 (Central Act 46 of 2023) read with sub-rules (2), (3) and (4) of rule 11
of the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of
Cases Rules, 1978, the Government of Keralam hereby appoint Shri K. N. Jayakumar, Advocate, Roll

(This does not form part of the notification, but is intended to indicate its general purport.)
Government have considered the direction of the Hon'ble High Court of Kerala in W.P.
(Crl.)No.688/2026 and decided to appoint Shri K. N. Jayakumar, Advocate, Roll No. K/530/91, NBS
Building, Firs floor, MM Ali Road,Palayam, Kozhikode-2, 673002, who is having the requisite
qualification, as Special Public Prosecutor for the conduct of prosecution in Crime No. 683/2023 of
Nadakkavu Police Station, Kozhikode District on payment of fees prescribed in item 10 of rule 32 of
the Kerala Government Law Officers (Appointment and Conditions of Service) and Conduct of Cases
Rules, 1978.
The notification is intended to achieve the above object.
