Ladakh, the 21^st April 2022

S.O. 57.― In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of sub-section 2 of section 37 of the Jammu and

Kashmir Fire Force Act, 1967 (XII of 1967), read with S.O.3775 (E) dated 23-10-2020, as a provisional measure,

the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh, hereby enhances the prescribed upper age limit for direct

recruitment against the following posts in the Ladakh Fire and Rescue (Subordinate) Service, as under:

This shall, however, not apply to the posts already advertised, for which the last date, fixed by

recruitment agencies, has expired.

It is further directed that the recruitment against the posts, which has been advertised before the date

of issuance of this notification, shall continue to be governed by the age applicable at the relevant point of

time.

This age relaxation shall be a one-time exception and this notification shall remain in force for a period of

two years from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette.
