Notification
Ladakh, the 03rd day of March, 2025
S.O. 21: - In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 29 of the Jammu and Kashmir (Residential and
Commercial Tenancy) Act, 2012 as extended to the Union territory of Ladakh by the Jammu and Kashmir
Reorganization Act, 2019, read with SO 3775(E) dated 23.10.2020, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs
(Department of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh Affairs), the Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh is pleased to
appoint the respective Assistant Commissioner Revenue (ACR) Leh and Kargil as Rent Controllers, within their
respective jurisdictions, i.e. Leh and Kargil Town of Union Territory of Ladakh until further orders. The respective
Rent Controllers shall exercise the powers conferred upon them and perform the duties as assigned under the
provisions of the Act.
