NOTIFICATION

Ladakh, the 3^rd June, 2025

S.O. 61 - In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 read with Clause (f) of Section 2 of the

Civil Defence Act, 1968 (27 of 1968), the Lieutenant Governor of Union territory of Ladakh hereby appoints the

District Magistrates of Kargil and Leh districts as Controller of Civil Defence in their respective jurisdiction.

The Controllers shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as prescribed under the Civil Defence Act,

1968, as well as under the rules and regulations made thereunder to ensure effective implementation and

management of Civil Defence measures within their respective jurisdictions.
