Notification.

Ladakh, the 24^th d a y of November 2025.

S.O. 139.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 3 the Commercial Courts,

Commercial Division and Commercial Appellate Division of High Courts Act, 2015 (Act No. 4 of 2016) read with

S.O. 1917(E) dated 15^th May, 2018, the Lieutenant Governor of Union territory of Ladakh hereby, in consultation

with the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, designates the Principal District Courts of Leh and Kargil

as Commercial Courts for the Districts of Leh and Kargil within their respective jurisdiction.

Further, in exercise of powers conferred by sub-section (1A) of section 3 of the said Act and in consultation

with the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, the pecuniary value of jurisdiction of the above-mentioned

Commercial Courts is fixed at not less than three lakh rupees and not more than pecuniary jurisdiction exercisable

by the Districts Courts.
