NOTIFICATION

LADAKH, the 14^thof January, 2026

Pursuant to powers conferred by Clause (iv) of Rule 8 of the Census Rules, 1990, the Administration of Union

Territory of Ladakh hereby freezes the boundaries of Districts/Tehsils, Municipalities, Towns, Revenue villages and

other administrative units in the whole Union Territory of Ladakh till completion of Census, 2027.

This Notification shall and shall always be deemed to have come into effect w.e.f. 01.01.2026.
