Ladakh, the 29^th of January, 2026

S.O. 154 − In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 3 of the Census Act, 1948 read with rule 6D and rule 8

(iii) of the Census Rules, 1990 and in suppression of the notification S.O. 08 dated the 5^th of March, 2020, the

Lieutenant Governor is pleased to notify the fifteen days’ time period from 17^th May to 31^st May, 2026 for Self-

enumeration followed by conduct of Houselisting Operations for period of Thirty days form 1^st June, 2026 to 30^th

June, 2026 in the Union Territory of Ladakh for Census 2027.
