Notification
Ladakh, the 05th March, 2026
S.O. 159 In exercise of the powers conferred by section 57 of the Indian Partnership Act, 1932 (Act No. IX of
1932), read with Notification S.O. 2082(E), dated the 5th May, 2022, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs,
Government of India, and section 98 of the Jammu and Kashmir Reorganisation Act, 2019 (Act No. 34 of 2019);
the Administration of the Union Territory of Ladakh hereby appoints the Director, Industries and Commerce,
Ladakh, as the Registrar of Firms for the Union Territory of Ladakh for the purposes of the said Act.
2. The Registrar shall exercise such powers and perform such duties as are conferred or imposed under the
said Act and the rules made thereunder.
3. This notification shall come into force on the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
