Notification
Ladakh, the 12th May, 2026
S.O. 190 - In exercise of the powers conferred by S.O. 282(E) dated 21.01.2020 read with section 37 of
the Jammu and Kashmir Fire Force Act, 1967 as adapted bofr S.O. 3775 (E) dated 23.10.2020, the
Lieutenant Governor of Union Territory of Ladakh hereby makes the following amendment in the Union
Territory of Ladakh Fire and Rescue (Subordinate) Service Recruitment Rules, 2021, notified vide S.O.
74 dated 20.12.2021 namely:
1. Short title and commencement
(1) These rules may be called the Union Territory of Ladakh Fire and Rescue (Subordinate) Service
Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2026.
(2) They shall come into force from the date of their publication in the Official Gazette.
