Ladakh, the 22^nd of July, 2026

S.O. 227. — In exercise of the powers conferred under sub-section (1) of Section 3 of the

Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1988, and in

supersession of S.O. 15 dated 14.02.2025, the Administration of Union territory of Ladakh

hereby empowers Sh. Himanshu Gupta, IAS as the “detaining authority” for the purpose of this

section of the Act.
