S.O. 241 -In exercise of the powers conferred by S.O. 2536 (E) & provison to clause (e) of

section 3 of Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition,

Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, the Administration of the Union Territory of

Ladakh in suppression to S.O No 34 of 08/09/2021, hereby notifies Deputy Commissioners of

revenue district of Leh, Kargil, Sham, Nubra, Zanskar, Drass, Changthang of Union Territory of

LADAKH GAZETTE : EXTRAORDINARY 2

Ladakh as “Appropriate Government” within their respective jurisdictions for acquiring land for

‘public purpose’ under the said act for an area not exceeding 5000 Kanals ( 250 h.a)

This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
