NOTIFICATION

Ladakh, the 25^th day of August, 2026

S.O. 254.— In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Jammu

and Kashmir Excise Act, Samvat 1958 (1901 A.D.) (hereinafter referred to as the “said Act”), as

adapted to the Union territory of Ladakh vide the Union Territory of Ladakh Reorganisation

(Adaptation of State Laws) Order, 2020, issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of

India vide S.O. 3775(E) dated 23rd October, 2020, and in supersession of S.O. 18 dated

16.04.2024, the Lieutenant Governor of the Union territory of Ladakh is pleased to appoint Shri

Romil Singh Donk, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Leh, to exercise the powers and perform
