NOTIFICATION

Ladakh, the 25^th day of August, 2026

S.O. 253 .— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Union Territory Goods

and Services Tax Act, 2017 (14 of 2017) (hereinafter referred to as the “said Act”), and in

partial modification of S.O. 28 dated 05.08.2024 and in supersession of S.O. 19 dated

16.04.2024, the Lieutenant Governor of the Union territory of Ladakh is pleased to appoint Shri

Tsewang Tharchin, IA&AS, Commissioner Secretary in the Administration of the Union

territory of Ladakh, to exercise the powers and perform the functions of the Commissioner of

Union territory tax under the said Act in the Union territory of Ladakh, with immediate effect

and until further orders.
