ADMINISTRATION OF UNION TERRITORY OF LADAKH

Notification

Ladakh, the 27^th of August, 2026.

S.O. 257 .— In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Jammu and Kashmir Motor

Spirit and Diesel Oil (Taxation of Sales) Act, 2005 (1948 A.D.), as adapted to the Union territory

of Ladakh vide S.O. 3775 dated 23.10.2020, and in partial modification of SRO-262 dated

06.06.2018, the Administration of the Union territory of Ladakh hereby makes the following

amendment in the said notification, namely :—

In the Schedule appended to the said notification, against Serial. No. 4, for the existing entry

21% in column (3), the entry “5%” shall be substituted.

This notification shall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 28.08.2026.
