NOTIFICATION

Leh, the 5th day of September, 2026.

S.O.262: In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Union Territory of

Ladakh (Sitting of Bench of the High Court of Jammu and Kashmir, and Ladakh in Ladakh) Regulation, 2026 (No.

10 of 2026), promulgated by the Hon’ble President of India and published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary,

dated the 27th August, 2026, the Administrator of the Union territory of Ladakh hereby appoints the 5th day of

September, 2026, as the date on which the said Regulation shall come into force.

By order of the Lieutenant Governor/Administrator of the Union territory of Ladakh.
