NOTIFICATION

F.No. 9/1/2006-DOP (PE)/28 :- In partial modification of the Notification

F.No. 9/1/2006-DOP (PE) dated 17-11-2015, the Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep

is pleased to designate Shri. I.C. Pookoya, Block Development Officer (HQ), Collectorate,

Kavaratti as “Officer on Special Duty (Panchayat Election)” to the Election Commission, in place

of Shri. K. Nizamuddin Koya, Deputy Collector, Kavaratti, for the superintendence, direction

and control of preparation of Electoral Rolls for, and conduct of all elections to the Panchayats in

the Union Territory of Lakshadweep constituted under Section 87 of Lakshadweep Panchayats

Regulation, 1994. These orders will come into effect immediately and will remain in force until

further orders.

Issued as approved by the Administrator vide Diary No. 4961 dated 29-12-2016.
