is pleased to permit Shri. P.C. Hameed (Date of Birth 12-07-1960), Deputy Collector, Agatti

to retire from Government Service on Superannuation on the afternoon of 31-07-2020 under

Rule 74(a) of the CCS (Pension) Rules 1972. Accordingly, the officer will stand relieved from

his duties on the afternoon of 31-07-2020.

NOTIFICATION

F.No. 2/4/2007-Services/1318 :- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 (1)

of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) read with Notification No. S.O. 183 (E)

dated 20^th March, 1974 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, the

Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep is pleased to appoint Shri. M.P. Abdul Kalam,

AE, LPWD, Chetlat, as Executive Magistrate with jurisdiction in the Island of Chetlat/Bitra and

islet around the Chetlat/Bitra Island. He will exercise all or any of the powers exercisable by an

Executive Magistrate under the said code.

The Administrator is also pleased to specially empower him to exercise the powers

specified under section 107, 108, 109, 110, 133, 143, 144, 174 & 176 of the said code.

This Notification shall have effect from the date on which the officer takes over charge as

Sub Divisional Officer, Chetlat and remains till such period the officer holds the charge of Sub

Divisional Officer, Chetlat.

This is issued with the approval of Hon’ble Administrator vide Diary No. 1071,

dated 15-06-2020.

SHIFTING OF 20 BEDDED DEEN DAYAL UPADHYAYA AYUSH HOSPITAL FROM

PRIVATE RENTED BUILDING TO OLD GOVERNMENT ITI BUILDING AT KAVARATTI

F.No. 1/35/2020-NAM :- In order to provide AYUSH Health Care facility under single

umbrella, Union Territory of Lakshadweep Administration has identified old Government ITI

building with land near main jetty premises for functionalizing Deen Dayal Upadhyaya AYUSH

Hospital at Kavaratti. Accordingly 20 bedded Deen Dayal Upadhyaya AYUSH Hospital now

functioning in a private rented building opposite to the State Bank of India shall be shifted to the

above identified Government Building. AYUSH services (Out-patient and in-patient facilities in

the stream of Ayurveda and Homeo) shall be made available for the public on completion of

required alteration/renovations in civil infrastructure. This is as per the approval of Hon’ble

Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep.
