NOTIFICATION

F.No. 1/1/2019-IRBN :- Hon’ble Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep is

pleased to grant “ Inspector Special Grade” to the Sub-Inspectors (Exe) and Sub-Inspectors

(Wireless) of India Reserve Battalion, Lakshadweep, Daman and Diu and Dadra Nagar Haveli

subject to the following conditions :

(a) The officer should have no break in service and completed 15 year of continuous

service.

(b) He should have at least 07 or more “ Very Good” gradings in the ACR for the last 15

years.

(d) No DE conclusively proved against him in his entire service.

(e) No DE/PE shall be pending against the employee.

(f) The OSL cases reported against the employee shall not exceed 03 occasions for any

duration till date.

(g) No punishment awarded against the employee in his entire service.

THE LAKSHADWEEP GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY

(h) The officer who is qualified for special grade designation should not be entitled for

up-gradation in the scale in higher post and he shall continue to draw salary of his

original post.

(i) The grant of Special Grade Designation is merely for enforcement of duty of higher

post as a result of which the officer will not be entitled to claim for extra remuneration

or a scale or benefit of the higher post.

(j) Screening committee of following composition would determine the suitability of

officers for grant of “ Inspector Special Grade”
