F.No. 2/4/2007-Services/1991 :- In exercise of the powers conferred by section 20 (1)
of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (2 of 1974) read with Notification No. S.O. 183 (E)
dated 20th March, 1974 of the Government of India, Ministry of Home Affairs, New Delhi, the
Administrator, Union Territory of Lakshadweep is pleased to appoint Shri. P.A. Koya, Assistant
Engineer, LPWD, Amini as Executive Magistrate with jurisdiction in the Island of Amini Island.
He will exercise all or any of the powers exercisable by an Executive Magistrate under
the said code.

The Administrator is also pleased to specially empower him to exercise the powers
specified under section 107, 108, 109, 110, 133, 143, 144, 174 & 176 of the said code.
This Notification shall have effect from the date on which the officer takes over charge as
Sub Divisional Officer, Amini and remains till such period the officer holds the charge of
Sub Divisional Officer, Amini.
This is issued with the approval of Hon’ble Administrator vide Diary No. 1592,
dated 26-08-2020.

Chandrashekaran, Principal, Dr. APJAK Memorial Government Senior Secondary
School, Chetlat as Executive Magistrate with jurisdiction in the Island of Chetlat/Bitra and
islet around the Chetlat/Bitra Island. He will exercise all or any of the powers exercisable by an
Executive Magistrate under the said code.
The Administrator is also pleased to specially empower him to exercise the powers
specified under section 107, 108, 109, 110, 133, 143, 144, 174 & 176 of the said code.
