ORDER UNDER SECTION 144 CRPC

F.No. 1/4/2020-Pol/1660 :- WHEREAS, the Ministry of Home Affairs Government of

India has implemented lockdown measure to contain spread of COVID-19 Pandemic; further

extended the lockdown in Containment Zone up to 31^st July 2020 with phased re-opening of

the prohibited activities. The lockdown was further extended in Containment Zone up

to 31-08-2020.

WHEREAS, in exercise of the powers vested in me u/s 144(4) of the Code of Criminal

Procedure, 1973, I Vijendra Singh Rawat, IAS, District Magistrate, Union Territory of

Lakshadweep promulgated prohibitory order under section 144 (4) of Cr.PC, 1973 vide

F.No. 1/4/2020-Pol-Part-1 dated 03-07-2020.

AND, WHEREAS, The Collector and Chairman, DDMA of Union Territory

of Lakshadweep issued Guideline for phased re-openng (Unlock-3) vide Order

F.No. E/21/7/2020-Col dated 30-07-2020.

NOW, THEREFORE, the above said prohibitory order is hereby revoked with immediate

effect.
