F.No. 49/7/2021-AH(Pension) :- The Hon’ble Administrator, Union Territory of

Lakshadweep is pleased to permit Dr. P. Attakoya, (Date of Birth : 04-11-1961) District

Veterinary Officer to retire from Government Service voluntarily on the afternoon

of 30-09-2021 under FR 56(k) of the CCS (Pension) Rules, 1972. Accordingly the officer will

stand relieved from the duties on the afternoon of 30-09-2021.

This is issued with the approval of Hon’ble Administrator vide Diary No. 981

dated 15-09-2021.

The Notification issued vide Extraordinary Gazette Vol. LVII No. 9 dated 31-05-2021

stand cancelled.

NOTIFICATION

D.O.F.No. 22/01/2017-AH(STAT)/404 :- The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) Act 1984

has been extended to all States and UTs. Under Section 55,56,57 and 58 of the Indian

Veterinary Council Act, 1984 provisions have been made to restrict Veterinary practice by

unauthorized and incompetent persons. For that purpose these statutes deals with penalty for

falsely claiming to be registered Veterinary practitioners, misuse of titles and practice by

unregistered persons.

Further, the Parliament of India has enforced the Veterinary Council of India (VCI) has

framed VCI (Standard of Professional Conduct, Etiquette and Code of Ethics for Veterinary

Practitioners) Regulations, 1992 to restrict unsupervised Treatment/Veterinary Service

assuming himself/herself to be a registered Veterinarian, while rending Minor Veterinary

Service under Section 30(b) of the Act’ 84.

The general publics are informed that unauthorized Veterinary practitioner or

establishment of Veterinary Clinic will be viewed seriously.
