F.No. 1/12/2010-LGP(Part) /845:- In accordance with the order dated 12-04-2011 passed seeking

implementation order dated 12-04-2011 of CAT, Ernakulam Bench in OA No. 333 in the matter of

K. Abdul Kader, Block Maker, Lakshadweep Government Press, Kavaratti, the Under Secretary to the

Government of India, Ministry of Urban Development (PSP Division), New Delhi vide order

No. C-18013/5/2011-Ptg. dated 12^th January, 2012, taking into consideration the nature of duties and

responsibilities and eligibility requirements for appointment to the post of Block Maker in the Union Territory of

Lakshadweep vis-a-viz the post of Offset Plate Maker in Government of India Presses, these post in Union Territory

of Lakshadweep had been found comparable with similar posts in Government of India Presses and therefore,

approval was granted for re-designation of the posts as Offset Plate Maker and revision of scale of pay

from 950-1500 to Rs. 1200-1800 with effect from 31-10-1989.
